A sweet and nostalgic ritual

A while ago I bought a box of Stony Acres because I suddenly remembered how marvelous maple candy was when I was a boy visiting my grandparents in Pennsylvania. I consider myself fortunate that I chose Stony Acres first, for other brands that I have tried pale in comparison.

Now my wife and I have an after-dinner ritual: Between doing the dishes and settling down in the living room we enjoy 2 or 3 pieces of this wonderful candy, bringing a bit of the East Coast to us here in California.

If you love maple candy, this is a real deal

I live in Panama and there are some things I just cant get here that I must have and maple candy is one of them!!! In fact I just ate a piece 30 minutes ago! I have ordered maple candy from many places and this is the best deal I have found. Stoney Acres has a super happy regular customer!

Some people have mentioned it is crunchier than they like. Put it in a tupperware with a slice of bread and in a couple days it softens right up!
